Our Therapy

Life Changes

We all face life changes. Changes in relationships or within our professional lives, health issues, shifting life roles or the loss of loved ones are just some of the changes we may all face at some point. We may wish to make changes but feel unable to do so. We might have these changes made for us and feel totally out of control as a result. We may welcome the changes but feel unsure how to adapt or we might be grieving for a past that we can no longer have but feel unable to move forward in to the future.

We all deal with change differently. It can be challenging and painful or exciting but complicated.  Whatever it is you are experiencing and how ever you may be feeling, it can often be helpful to talk things through with a professional therapist. We at Life Changes counselling offer a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your issues in confidence with a fully qualified non-judgemental, professional counsellor. Please contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

Who We Are

Vicki Craig FdSC and BA (Hons) Counselling (University of Greenwich), MBACP

I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. Insured and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their Ethical framework for the counselling professions.

I am trained to work in a variety of ways on either a short or long term basis.  We will talk about how best to meet your needs in our first session and review this regularly to make sure you are getting the most from our time together.  Essentially, I believe that counselling is about making changes and that we all have the potential to achieve it. Sometimes life is challenging and, particularly at these times, it can be hard to believe that change is possible. Choosing the right therapist is an important decision - my hope is that we can build a therapeutic relationship that is unique to us but empowers you to make the changes you want.

To contact me, please complete the form below or give me a call on 07534 096305.  If I can’t answer immediately, please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

I have immediate availability on a Monday or Tuesday during daytime hours

Susannah Hebden Dip Couns, BA Hons (Combined Studies), MBACP

I am a fully qualified counsellor and personal stylist. As a person centred – existential therapist I work in such a way as to ensure you are always in control of your own therapy. I will listen to what you want and work with what you bring to the therapy room in order to facilitate the most effective therapeutic work that will be totally individual to you. Existentially we can look at how life events have impacted upon you, meanings you have attached to these and ultimately how these have shaped your world for you. Understanding how we formed our own perceptions and meanings can often be the key to unlocking a whole new outlook.  As a qualified and working personal stylist of 10 years, I have a particular interest in working in a more creative way with some clients, using image and wardrobe therapy to help facilitate therapeutic work. Whatever your life goals may be, personal image and how we present ourselves to the world can be fundamental in understanding who we are and achieving long term change.
